Ahalna Restaurant is truly a hidden gem in Massachusetts! The food is absolutely delicious and makes you want to come back again and again.
Vegan/Vegetarian options. The food is fresh and flavorful. Friendly service. We loved everything we ordered. We each got a vegetarian meal combo, which includes 3-pieces of falafel, hummus, pita, tabbouleh, and house salad. We also each ordered a side of rice and a side of vegetable samosa. We loved the spicy sauce.
This is the first time we have ever had Mediterranean food before and have been wanting to try it. The gentleman working (who I'm told is the owner) suggested a couple things and was very polite and patient even though it was just him working. We ended up getting the chicken shawarma, 2 PC falafel, and a samosa. I asked if he knew anywhere I could purchase spicy hummus and he said he could make it. He mixed up some of his homemade hot sauce and humus and it was the perfect spice but with immense flavor as well. He said he homemakes the hummus and the chickpeas are not out of a can. The hummus has a really nice smooth texture and isn't gritty at all. The food was delicious! The samosa was full of flavor as promised. I definitely don't regret trying this place out and will be eager to come back.
The sweetest man owns and runs it. We have been 3 times in the past two weeks and it’s always delicious and he knows our orders. He always has a smile and is very happy. Everything that is said to be gluten free is. We’ve never had an issue with cross contamination.
We skipped going to a restaurant to get our fav, chicken shawarma. The owner is very kind. We just love the food so much.
Amazing service and delicious fresh vegetarian food! It is so hard to find good vegetarian and this falafel and samosas were made fresh, as well as the hummus. Would absolutely love to eat here again when I'm in town at the mall.
Was looking for a more healthy alternative. Was greeted friendly at the register and given the suggestion of chicken Shawarma. I’m glad I went with it because it tastes really good and I’ve never had a pleasant experience with hummus but really think this pairs well with the whole meal.
My (very picky) kids and I absolutely love their food. Any time we are in the area we come here to grab lunch. Always very friendly and kind. Generous portions. And the food is delicious.
